Well the one to the USCIS doesn't need to be. We found a place in BKK that will certify it. We are also having the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stamp it so we will be good for the interview.

Can anyone recommend a certified translation place near the embassy area or preferably dindaeng area? Also where do you go to have the MFA "stamp" your translated birth certificate.

Thanks,

H

yes, as you walk out the front door of the embassy, turn right and go out 50+- yards and across the street is a company that handles this. They are right next to the coffee shop on the corner of a side street.

Tomorrow, I'll dig up the phone number and address for you.

I was just there on March 31

Instead of getting 'normal' birth certificate get 'international' birth certificates.

Probably not all countries are issuing them but it is worth to ask. They are already translated in different languages and I know alot of people don't know that those are available.

Just an input for everybody.

In Europe you also get international marriage and death certificates. So no need to translate any of them!
