Field Offices

I need some help my local field office is washington Dc when i got to the uscis webpage it says processing time for Aos is Nov 10 2006 EEEKKK dose that mean that they are not even working on this years yet? I am confused i thought my field office was in WVA that is where they sent me for my Bio. Can anyone help me figure this out ?

Just a quick note that not everyone is sent to their "local office" for biometrics. My local office is Jacksonville, FL, but I was sent to New Orleans for my biometrics because it's the closest ASC (application support center). Some field offices have ASCs attached, but others do not.

Washington DC is one of the slowest. I am in it. We filed in mid June 2007, our lawyer projects an AOS decision mid May 2008 or so. The real waiting game begins.
