Hi,

My wife is in USA with K3 visa.

The I-130 is at NVC and about to be completed. More likely she will be scheduled for an interview abroad in a month or so. For obvious reasons ( economical and all) she dos not want to go back for the CR1 interview. Could it be done here? Is it possible to have the interview here in USA, instead of going back to the country for the consular interview? If it is, how?

Thank you

Aren't you supposed to file adjustment of status after she gets here on her K3? Your AOS interview (if you have to have one) is here.

if she doesn't want to go back for the CR1 interview, you are going to have to apply for AOS (Adjustment of Status) which costs $1010....
