Got it. Actually the city is mailing it to me within 30 days! Washington is a shall issue state. Meaning as long as I pass the background check they shall (no choice on their part) issue me the permit.

What kind of gun/s do you have strike?

I have a glock 23 and 27.

Sold my Glock 17. Never really liked Glocks much anyway. I've carried a Walther as well, but mostly have had .22 target pistols. I like SIGs and HKs, Taurus makes some nice ones as well.

My regular carry gun now is a Makarov .380 ACP, which is small, reliable, easy to conceal, and cheap. (I paid about $120 for it). You can swap the barrel to a 9x18 Makarov for less than $20. It is also quite accurate. I carry pretty rarely though.

I'm looking for a replacement for the Makarov - something similar in size, but chambered in 9x19. Obviosly this means a recol-operated design. Haven't found anything I like yet.
