Apparent general delays with Removal of Conditions

Hi Guys,

Minnesota here. Just browsing and saw that Texas and Nebraska (to name two) are behind, so I guess it's a general thing.

Filed in January here, NOA1 date is 1/24/07. Followed up with Biometrics appointment which we completed no problem. Now we wait. Today is 11/9/07. This is what brought me here to VJ today, getting concerned. Looks like others have the same issues though. May we all get approved soon!!

Two questions:

1; Anybody get called for an actual INTERVIEW for the removal of conditions, or cards just appearing in the mail one fine day?

2; Has anyone here actually had their year come and go with no action? If so, what did you do, what happened?

Mine took 8 months from date application sent in to receiving the GC.

You will get a "card production ordered" email, and then the GC arrives in the mail shortly afterwards.

Of course the "card production ordered" email will only appear if you have signed up online with USCIS case status online:

https://egov.uscis.gov/cris/jsps/index.jsp

Regarding the interviews: there have been two cases that have recently had interviews for their I751 cases. In general however those interviews still seem to be the exception.

Titomas,

You're going through NSC.... The lastest info is that they're approving very early January and late December cases right now. You're on schedule so no reason to worry right now. Right now they're approving at a pace of about two weeks worth of petitions per month. Just sit back and relax, your petition will be approved in good time.

If the time comes that you're been wating for more than a year, you need to make an Infopass apppointment at your local DO and get a passport stamp as proof of your continuing PR status.

Thanks folks,

Yes, I wasn't worried yet honestly, but it is nice to hear what is happening with other folks. Feel a bit more reassured.

Have a godd day.
