f##k them motherf##king hawks..the only animal/bird i hate and shoot..let me and sanita go down there..i pay them to kill them off....####### dog killers...i drove into a ditch just to hit one recently

outside of that, they are okay

sanita feeds tons of animals and birds..her hobby...since we live near a park ..we get allot of birds...and hawks after them....i jsut bought sanita a new winchester..1000 ffs pellet rifle for her anniversary....(i know i am too nice too)..yes, we fight them daily...

Get a .22LR and if you live in town just buy CB Caps for it. The neighbors won't hear a thing. I used to shoot them in my basement all the time.

Is it just me being half-awake or is anyone else reading this the way I am? You used to shoot the neighbors in your basement??? :lol:

If you had to live next to a POS neighbor that I have living next to you. You would want to shoot them too. I was out of town for a few weeks and they were casing my house. So my other neighbor walked over with his pistol and acted like I was home. He said something like, "Hey Kev do you want to see my new pistol." They ran back inside.

It's no wonder! I've seen a few chihuahuas here, and they are so small! they could easily be picked up by a hawk

Easy way to solve the problem. Get a real dog! Rats with fur are not dogs. Also for those of you shooting hawks I hope you know that it is a federal offense to shoot a bird of prey. Big fine and posible jail time along with confiscation of the weapon and or anything else conected to the crime. So Almaty if your wife gets caught shooting one off your back porch your house is forfeit. Finally ther are some upgraded choices in pellet guns Cabelas carries a 9mm model that will kill a woodchuck at 25yds. Or you could go hi tech if your area allows and purchase a suppressor for your 22LR

not sure what area you are referring to, but in the usa a suppressor is illegal per federal law.

GULF BREEZE, Fla. (AP) - Move over coyotes. Some northwest Florida residents are worried because they believe hawks are swooping down from the sky and attacking their small dogs.

Gulf Breeze residents have seen their pets fall victim to coyotes before, and the city even sets traps to control their population.

Martha Powers said she began yelling after seeing a large bird flying down toward her dog. The bird turned away. And Caren Gardner believes that her 3-pound Pomeranian was taken by a hawk last year 'within minutes' after she let her out to play.

Local veterinarians don't believe pet owners should be too worried about birds flying off with their pets because the problem isn't all that common.

Doctor Lorrie Rhodus from the Animal Medical Center said she has seen the problem before. She said that three years ago a woman brought in a dog that had been attacked by a hawk. The owner said the small dog was probably too heavy for the bird to handle, and it dropped the canine. The dog was severly injured and had to undergo surgery, Rhodus said.
