terrible thing happend to my case

i just got my RFE and i think they mixed my case with someone else because there asking for proof of citizenship which i alreadysent when i filed, also they are asking me to send proof of marriage termination, i have never been married before and the names on there that they are asking proof from aren't our names. \here is a copy of what they sent me. I need help from all you members .

You need to call USCIS back and let them know what is going on. When you talk to them, they should verify your case # and your name or the petitioner.

Well, frankly I'd send them a copy of YOUR passport, which establishes your US citizenship. I'd also write them a letter and point out the difference in the names they requested from yours, and the fact that you've never been married.

Perhaps this is too simple and straightforward?

everytime i call i get a recording and it is almost impossible to reach someone .

it is our case number. but the names are not ours and i have never been married before.

You have to follow the options they give u in the message center. I don't recall the option numbers off hand but press the one that tells you that your case is over the time line. There is like couple of minutes waiting period for the live person help you. The whole process will take you about 5-7 minutes to get through because of the options they give you.

call the RFE section and ask for a supervisor...then u state ur case to them....dnt worry it can sorted out....there error

also keep in mind when the USCIS makes an error u have the option to expedite..ask for that option..but only after u have been sorted out

I would schedule an INFO pass appointment. I know it's frustrating but it will get sorted out.

that is scary as hell ... and they touched the hell out of her case too.My lawyer screwed up his birthdate on the application for the I130... God help us all

also.. you need to send the evidence and write a formal letter and fed ex it back to the rfe and say hey what the heck.. this isnt me.. You need to find out where your file is... and whether they mixed up your case... maybe your file isnt that far along and stuff got shoved in another file
