Starting this thread for the few of us left that have not been approved. Nerdette, Faith11, MelissaHassan, My Honey, jrmach1, Andrew_Soriya and gogo. We are all together in this USCIS mess. I have called USCIS 3 times and every time get a different story about my case, my dates etc. My receipt date is 30 April and the NOA1 date is 24 May. One call center says I am over the 180 days the other doesn't. What a bunch of BS. Have any of you contacted your congressman or Senator yet?

The journey is over we are divorced now.

Yes.. I just faxed in my letter to 7 of our congressmen in California (just looked up 7, including my district) and also my senator too (Dianne Feinstein)... I'll send more next week to other congressmen and the other senator (Barbara Boxer).. I just had to fill out the privacy casework form.. and just wrote a letter stating all my information (and also complaining because I work for the government already, what is with the background checks... but in a nicer language).. Hopefully I will hear something soon... but they say it won't work.. lawyers, senators, congressmen are useless if it goes to security checks (FBI name check)... that's because they probably think it is stupid too.. why do some people get it , while others don't? March people can come already to the US... why can't we??

I have contacted everybody I could think of and got nothing. :crying: It has been over a year now since I have seen my husband and each day gets more unbearable. The only thing I can do now is keep praying and hoping Allah answers my prayers and finally be reunited with my husband soon inshallah. I'm also praying for all the others that has been left behind and I hope I see their cases approved soon. Take care everyone and try to stay strong and inshallah we will be with our spouses soon. :luv:(F)

Hey gogo. I am wondering if all of us not yet approved have gotten stuck into this "additional name checks" as you but they haven't informed us yet. If we are, all we can do is wait around 6 months, continue to contact USCIS and then file a law suit against USCIS in your local federal court for a Writ of Mandamus against them. But you have to have your ducks in a row about having contacted them and trying to get it resolved. We can all file "PRO SE" motions against them in Federal Court

The journey is over we are divorced now.

Hi there!!

Well, you can add us to the list. Our K3 still has not been approved...

And yes, we need to be strong. If we are sad, then our hubbys will be sad....and we don't want that. It gives me a little relief since I will be spending the holidays with him...but not knowing when we will finally be together is very frustrating.

Hang in there everyone...our time will come soon.

Looks like we belong in this topic. We have yet to receive NOA2.

I-129F Sent : 2007-05-03

I-129F NOA1 : 2007-05-30 (only online, no email)

Updated Address info: 2007-10-26

By looking at the active posters' timelines it looks like we should be there now.

Anyways I'll try that phone trick to get through the gatekeepers.

Thanks,

Chris & Joy

I have contacted our Congressman and Senators office. My response from our Congressmans office said they will keep contacting CSC weekly until this is resolved. In fact yesterday wednesday I received a telephone call from our Congressman office that she had spoke to CSC and by end of next week; the RFE we received will be resolved and decision sent. However, I have heard this from CSC person mouth about a week plus ago and still NOTHING!!!:angry: As for the Senators office we are still within the "6 month guidelines" which is not correct! Its 6 months from when USCIS receives the application. So, this obviously tells me the Senators Offices has no clue on what the hell is going on!

But, our problem is since USCIS sent a RFE for the I-130 this is holding the K3. The correct way should have been the K3 be a approved first and then the I-130 next. But, nothing about this entire process has been correct! Right from the very start we were delayed and it just snowed balled the whole way... Monday is a holiday for CSC so, no approvals will be sent. I hope to god somehow and someway a miracle happens and they begin today to release our approvals that are long overdue!! This whole thing is just disgusting!!!
