This one goes out to everyone who has an account with USAA.Somebody hacked into the bank system and is stealing HUGE amounts of money.My Fiance has a charge from apple I Pod of over 800$ which he never purchased anything.

Sounds like someone got the debit card number and used it to buy stuff. You can dispute the transaction and have them reissue the card. You don't have to hack the banking system to be able to use someones account.

Fortunately, I was checking my credit card balance online right after I bought something at Target (Claudeth loves it there and so does my daughter) and there were three charges for animal feed from some store in Rio The card company took care of it quickly but how weird was that

Don't remember...cancelled it soon after that...really made me paranoid...right after using the card...first time in months...then see additional stuff in Rio....time to kill that account

Ya James had the problem fixed yesterday too.Someone got a hold of his debit card number (thats what you get for using your card on "certain" sites on the net!!!) and not only made that 800$ purchase with apple i pod but has also tried to buy LOTS more stuff.Fortunatley the expiration date the "thief" gave as info was wrong so it was "only" them 800 bucks.He will get the money back from USAA ,the old debit card is cancelled and a new one ordered.

Maybe that will teach my old man NOT to go to certain sites!
