my fiance and i sent the I-129F oct 2 and up now, my fiance havent gotten a NOA1 by the mail...is any one here who applied on the same date or after?

were worried about it....

why its taking too long????? :o

Hi, as long as I know, some people sent I129 F on Aug., they got the NOA1 for received the petition from CSC after 1 month and a half, so basically right now they are handling this very slow, the average only for NOA1 is around 40 days. Hopefully they can speed up some day! Good luck.

It means that you may get your NOA2 in March 2008. If your petition is approved (NOA2 granted) then it will be forwarded to NVC who will forward it to the Embassy who will send papers to your partner to fill in and an interview will be arranged. If the interview is successful then the visa will be issued. The time taken from NOA2 to interview will vary depending on the consulate.

17th March 2010 - Started the removal of conditions process

22nd March 2010 - Application received by CSC

30th April 2010 - Biometrics appointment

It is pretty fast on my application so far. However, receiving NOA1 fast does not mean the later processes would be fast. Please do not feel discouraged if you are still waiting on NOA1. Will keep you updated on the status.

The timeline adjudication date is just an estimate, but it should give you a good idea about when to start expecting your NOA2, provided you have no RFE's or other delays.
