USCIS doesn't seem to have made any progress in the last few weeks in processing I-130s.

I bet a dinner at El Pollo Loco that it stays at 8/30/07 through November 26.

Eating at El Pollo Loco will cause a great gas disturbance....But, it tastes so good!!!! :)

I'm surprised at how much they have slowed down, even with the increase in applications. They are stating around 6 months to approve the I-130. I don't remember what it was when we filed in mid-march, however it went through Vermont/ (transferred to California) in 80 days.

It's just depressing. CSC is still listing as processing I-130s at 8/30/07.

So almost a month has gone by since you originally posted and they are still working on August 30th. Hmm, seems strange unless that was a red letter day at the ole USCIS. Have to wonder how accurate those dates are.

What are you seeing on the boards in terms of timelines around when you filed?

The IR1/CR1 forums, it looks like people from late Aug and early Sep (Sep 3 is the latest I can find) are just getting thier NOA1's. I heard that the CSC's are working on catching up the other submittions (eg Naturalizations, work permits, K's) before they start on the I-130s.

THere are so many people who filed in and around August who still don't have their NOA-1's. I can't believe that and I feel sorry for those people. When I origanally started this process I was told it woud take 4-6 months and that was including interview time. Now I think people are going to be stuck in this for WAY longer. It's sad really.

I wouldn't be surprised. My Brother in Law filed his AOS on July 17, EAD's in theory should take 90 days. He's still waiting and did an infopass last week, was told they are still working on EAD's from the end of July.
