I got a text from her saying she was going back to the Embassy so hopefully this matter will be resolved quickly. She is staying at the Bayview for another night. VJ helps alot because I knew to ask about the delivery fee and she wasnt aware of it. She says they told her she was approved but nobody mentioned paying Delbros. Another error in a comedy of errors in this whole process.

She did say her interview experience was pleasant. They asked her about mostly about me. They ask how many times I have been married and how many kids i have and whether I am paying alimony to my ex. Also wanted to know about my job. My fiance got alot of silly advice from others thinking she had to have my drivers license and phone number memorized.

Latest update: I have to laugh about this. She was told she was approved and her 3 year old son had fallen asleep because he was so tired after being at St. Lukes until 9:30 pm the day before. So she left the embassy without considering the delivery fee. She text me with the visa approval news so I text her back asking if she paid the delivery fee. She realized her mistake but then said she had to put her son down for nap and then she would call the embassy. 5 hours later she text me that she fell asleep with her son. I advised her to go back to the embassy and she did. She sneaked her cell phone in to the embassy and then it rang while she was standing at the counter (no it wasnt me calling). She had to give it to the guard who already knew her from the previous day. She was able to pay the Delbros delivery fee for her and her son. She is such a trouble maker. hehehe

My Fiance was asked how soon she wanted the visa. Her response was as soon as possible. Silly question huh? Her sons medical records had not made it to the Embassy yet so we knew there would be a delay. She was told that the visas would be released together. We didnt ask to pick it up at the Embassy because she has been in Manila all week and wants to return to Iloilo. Also Monday is Veteran's Day holiday and its my understanding that US Federal holidays are observed by Embassy. So rather than her wait there we opted to have her return home.

Her flight is on November 21st and she plans on attending the CFO training on November 20th. She was told she didnt need an appointment.

TSup2,

It may be true she doesn't need an appointment, but they only accept so many into the class so if she is cutting it that close to her flight she better get there hours before to ensure she gets one of the slots. I would recommend she goes earlier than the day prior just in case. Tell her to bring a copy of everything, including your petition package because the information in it will come in handy for some of the forms and questions they ask. Good luck.
