My husband has his interview next week, i've been reading that some people brought phone bills, emails,etc... My question is ..his apointment letter is only requesting that he bring original documents, such as original marriage certificate and birth certificate.Should he bring all these other documents also?

I 'll have my interview next month and as far as I know he will also need " evidence of your relationship" : photos, e-mails, etc..whatever you submitted with your I-129 (the original documents)..

THANKS! I just want to make sure he has what he needs with him.The only thing submitted was the birth and marriage certificates.I spent 4 years with him overseas and had a residency permit to live there and returned here last year to begin this long ordeal. He is bringing all that but because they are only requesting his original birth cert, and marriage cert I thought that was all he needed. We are both a nervous wreck.

We are also unbelievably stressed out by all this process, and it's not getting better now that the interview is coming up (not soon enough!)..

By the way, you are talking about the interview at the consulate, right?

Good luck! They say it's really nothing to worry about
