I hate waiting too...!

I filed in December 28, 2006 and our case was completed as of October 11, 2007 at the NVC. BUT IT HASN'T BEEN FORWARDED TO THE EMBASSY YET.

And since my husband is Iranian, I can expect to wait even after he has his interview. Because the Department of State issues more security checks on people who are muslim or from middle eastern countries.

So....keep that in mind when you say "you hate waiting" and remember you haven't waited like some of us.

I'm on the same boat too.. Filed mine for my wife around that time.. Right now I'm in the process of paying my VISA fee bill $380.. Still waiting for the bill.. I hope it comes soon..

I'm the only person I know who is so excited to pay something..

My target is February too.. Upon seeing other people's timeline. I just hope I don't encounter problem for my I864 and DS230..

Oh well I trust the people here in VJ... So far so good, they have been very kind and helpful to me.. Thank You all..

Also.. I recommend the James Shortcut which is located on the NVC Forum..

Good Luck.. I hate waiting too, but its something we have to go through, and I know it will pay off when our love ones get here.

My wife and I are in the same predicament. I filled and sent her paperwork in November 2006, and still no interview. Her case was completed on 10/12/2007. I hope that she’ll be here by January or February. It has been a stressful year.

I was so scared today.. I just called the NVC and got on to the Automated Status..

Status says, I am missing some info and and a checklist has been mailed to me.. :-(

I was so curious on what it was.. So I called NVC live operator to ask what was I missing.. They were very nice enough to tell me.. I was so nervous.. She told me everything was processed fine, they have all my financial info that they needed the I864 form is fine also..

Guess what was the only thing missing?

The FEE BILL of $380 USD.. Oh my God... That was it!! I almost fell on floor.. I was so nervous to know what was missing and all she told me that the only thing missing was the fee bill of $380..

So I told her that the payment is so ready to go out.. I am just waiting for the bill.. And she was like ohhh... I am going to request another one for you, and clarified if my address was right..

Damn!! FEE BILL.. Where are you????
