Shopping 'til I drop on May 1? Can't do that; it's international labor day (a holiday originating in the US, btw). Also, I don't shop at Walmart, and I don't qualify as conservative under any circumstances.

Everyone needs to read this and go shopping on May 1!!

http://www.humaneventsonline.com/blog-detail.php?id=14045

Hopefully in between shopping everyone can find the time to call, FAX, e-mail, write a letter, and/or go in person to your Senators' and House Rep's offices to let them know how you feel about illegal immigration and rewarding illegal aliens with amnesty.

You can also let them know about their score on their immigration report cards at the following link. Make a copy to send to them and praise or chastise them accordingly.

http://www.betterimmigration.com/reportcardintro.html

This is more effective than anything you can do. We can vote...illegal aliens can't. This is our country and our elected representative work for us. Remind them of this fact.

"Credibility in immigration policy can be summed up in one sentence: Those who should get in, get in; those who should be kept out, are kept out; and those who should not be here will be required to leave."

"...for the system to be credible, people actually have to be deported at the end of the process."

I wish the Mexican's good luck since everything in Mexico is commercialized. More Mexican's in Walmart here in Tucson then Anglos. They are also building a big Walmart in Nogales, Sonara cause of all the complaints that all the rich Mexicans have to drive to Tucson to shop at Walmart.

I think Mexican women shop more than the average Anglo woman for clothing. My best friend is of Mexican descent and she is a major shopaholic. No matter if we go somewhere just to look she is buying something.

:help: Whoa, I didn't mean this as an offense to Mexican's I am just stating some observed facts living only one hour from the Mexican border I see it everyday.... Christmas time is one of the top times for crossing the border to go shopping here in the Malls. Mexican's like the rest of us can't do without material items from Starbucks, ect...

It is somewhat crazy at times here in the southwest with all the craziness between cultures going on...

We love Cinco De Mayo and Corona, going to Rocky Point, haggling with the vendors, ect... but there is alot off violence here between Hispanics and Blacks, cars stolen and taken to the border, people dying in the desert by the hundreds each summer.....ect...

People need to see both sides of the story before defending one opinion.....

What a laughable (not to mention offensive) article! Those conservatives would do anything to make you buy more useless junk that you don't need in the first place.

Don't you peep-holes see? Wanton consumption is the key to solving all of our problems! Terrorist attack-GO SHOPPING! Too many ferners-GO SHOPPING! The world will never run out of STUFF, and other countries will never tire of being ground further and further into wage-slavery, starvation and political subjugation. Heck, it's good for them-it's the magical MARKET! And the beautiful part is that even if we were to somehow say, usher in the apocalypse... that's allgood and peachykeen cuz then we get to meat with jam-master jesus and laugh as all the meek heathens inherit the flames of he11!

A day without shopping is a good idea for anyone.
