Hopefully they will approve everything really soon and you can be together again. Sometimes I think it must require you to give up your heart and soul to work in immigration. How else could someone keep people apart like this?

i am so very sorry to hear that you are having such a hard time with this. Do they even have a good reason to be putting your petition through so much security???? either way just be strong and don't give up the fight! keep calling and stay in touch with your congressman...maybe even have them intervene again! i hope you hear from the consulate soon!!! OH MY GOD.... You can't imagine my surprise when I woke up this morning and saw all these responses....I'm in tears...I'm humbled :blush:

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes.... It means sooooooo much to us..... for all of u (F)(F)(F)(F)(L)(L)(L)

And for the ones who asked questions as to why it's taking so long...I believe it's where we are from, Iran... Also it could be he had a name hit..... :crying:

He is been in Germany for 6 years...has no criminal records (I know because I had him get a police certificate and translated it in English, which my lawyer sent to NVC, but it didn't do any good).... he never has been in US... The congresswoman's office got the same letter from NVC that my lawyer got "waiting for clearance from Washington Agencies"....I don't think the staff were aggressive though... I sent an emil to FBI 4 weeks ago and haven't got a response... So this is the process... What else to do, I don't know...

3/24/11 Received 10 year Green Card in the mail - Done. Feels good :-) 'till we do this again for US Citizenship.

This site is very good to vent on since we all going through the same process. I have vented on here before and was also so happy to hear replies and it does help a lot. A year is long wait on this process. I wish you the best of luck and hope that you will get approved soon! *HUGS*

soo frustrating .. when you are "placed" in the same group.. for more detailed investigation only due to where you are from.. or common name. or.. looking crosseyed at the processor.. ..

Either way it doesnt make it easier..
