It is time to renew my EAD soon and I have a few questions, just to be on the safe side:

1. What is the exact timewindow when to apply for the renewal? My EAD expires Feb 26, 2008.

2. Where do I send the application? In the instructions it says, if you file for I-765 alone, send it to Texas Service Center???

Or is it the Chicago Lockbox, that's where I sent the initial AOS/EAD application.

3. Is the fee really $340??? Ripoff!!! I bet, I file and get my greencard a week later...lol

4. Question #14: What is the manner of your last entry (Visitor, Stundent,..) ?

I came in on a K-1 in August 06, but I traveled outside the US last month, so what was I when I entered? pending LPR?? K-1 Visa holder? Even the visa is already expired?

5. Question #16..Category is still ©(9), correct?

I appreciate any info on that. I think I have a general clue, but I want to be sure about this.

Thank you!
