I haven't called DOS in a while so I figured it was time. I got a very nice woman and she said right off the bat, "ma'am I'm showing that Cairo got back the results they were waiting for as of today and have now started the Administrative Review process."

I said, "was that the last step they were waiting for?" and she said, "that is what it looks like. according to the system they are starting to review the results of his case as of today and that is the final step"

I"m not going to do any dancing 'cause we all know the story but at least it was quite a promising conversation! I wonder if my congressman's office actually did something to get it going again? If so he's got MY vote next election!!!

Where are the holiday police? I just got an inter-office email asking for $10 donations to decorate the 3rd ring of hell for Christmas. Their goal is to have it all done by December 1st.

And no, Im not forking over my hard earned money to decorate other people's cubes. Im making snowflakes out of printer paper

On the topic of travel it must be in the stars or something. Lately I'm chewing the idea of working a way to Egypt for Summer 2008. I've already got the green light from a former in law in NY that I could stay with her and fly in and out from NY cuz it's cheapest there. Now just looking at the financial situation and I have time to plan that.

On campus today we have one of the Holy Rollers out there preaching the Bible. I think this guy does tours or something because I remember the crowds he'd draw on the BSU campus.

I am one who enjoys the holiday lights and music, but like Sarah and Allousa, I want it to start on Thanksgiving, not NOV !!!! The commercials are driving me nuts and it's only the first week of the month. AND THEN the station I listen to on the radio played Christmas music as their halloween costume (ALL DAY! ) and now is throwing a few songs in the daily mix...So, holiday police...come out and start writing tickets. or arresting people They can have parole after Turkey dinner.
