Certified Translation for I-130

Please let me know if this is legit for my husband's birth certificates and our marriage certificate, to be submitted with the I-130 packet: I am fully competent to translate the documents, but am not a certified translator. Will it be acceptable to translate the documents myself, and then for each (or for all together) draft a statement saying I am capable of translating and that the translations are true and accurate, and have that statement notarized? Shall I notarize the statement claiming the validity of the translations, and/or the translations themselves? Thank you,

Certifing for USCIS is just making a note at the bottom of the translation Certifying that you are competent to translate.

Please submit certified translations for all foreign language documents. The translator must certify that s/he is competent to translate and that the translation is accurate.

The certification format should include the certifier's name, signature, address, and date of certification. A suggested format is:
