CR1 December interviews

Our case has been completed on the 29th of Oct and I am currently waiting for an interview date hopefully in December. I would like to group around members in the same boat with a case complete and pending an interview assignment. During my last conversation with NVC, I was told that they will assign interviews for Dec next week (the week of the 12th). Members with the same timeline, please share with us your updates

All our paperwork (DS 230 and I 1864) is "received" as of Oct 30th, according to the NVC automated message. I am HOPING for a miraculous case completion and interview scheduling this month, for an interview in December. Do you think this miracle could happen?

To tell you the truth I am frustrated because my wife’s case was completed on 10/12/2007, and still no word if they are doing something about it. I have been calling NVC every single day and all they tell me is. You have to wait 8 weeks, and then if nothing has happened in 8 weeks then you give us a call. The way every thing is happening, I guess she might get her interview in January, or February of 2008.

La verdad es que ya estoy frustrado por que el caso de mi esposa fue completado en Octubre 12, del 2007, y aun no se nada. He estado llamando al Centro Nacional de Visas todos los días, y lo que me dicen es. Tienes que esperar 8 semanas, si nada ha pasado en 8 semanas, entonces nos llamas. De la manera que todo esta pasando, creo que ella tendrá su entrevista en enero o febrero del 2008.

My wife's case was approved September 24th, missed the interview for November and have to wait another week to find out if there is going

to be an interview for Decemeber. The explanition was given to me by NVC was the the embassy was over loaded for Nomber.

This is what I have find on this site:

"The NVC makes appointments the second week of each month". It is a silly rule and practice.

Our case was completed on 10-05, we are waiting for an interview date.

I spoke with the NVC this morning and was told that they wont be scheduling interviews until next week from the 12-16, and the best time to call to see if one was scheduled for you would be after the 16th. She also told me that yes NVC does schedule inerviews but how many at each embassy depends on the amount of interviews that the embassy says it can handle that given month. She said once the embassy says we can handle 200 (for exmaple) interviews this month, they then schedule from there.

I am hoping that ours will be scheduled for december, Id like to have him home by then.

Another VJ that has her case completed on the 12th of October still has not been given her interview date. I was told to call next week for the December interview. Let's see what happens from now til next week. Good luck to all of you with the same timeline!

mine was RECEIVED in 29th, miracles exists

but with nvc i dont think so

i'm just saying to have a hope it's good right now but it's just better to not expect an earlier interview

if it will happend it's nice from nvc if not you wont have a huge frustration, do you understand what i mean ?

Completed on 16th Oct, case forwarded on 24th and we are eagerly waiting for that date. It seems that closer we get, more impossible it gets to wait. I have been calling DOS everyday to find out if they scheduled anything.

I don't get how this 2nd week of every month scheduling works. Do they schedule for next month on that week or what?

hi,

People applying their I-130 after me have got interview date before me even when their case was completed after. I just dont know how it works for the scheduling and stuff. I am just taking it with open arms. I dont mind now if they are giving me interivew date of next year.... Its fine with me, Something is better than nothing I suppose.

Just feel when I talk to my life partner....... its like why one more month delay... then we talk to each other and we understand... NVC is God ...whatever it gives.... take it..

The scheduling dates have nothing to do with NVC, they schedule our interviews around the waiting list at whichever Consulate it is you are interviewing for your visa at.

I wouldn't get too stressed out if you've only been waiting for an interview since last month. Our case was completed in June, and we just received our interview date for December 6th. Most of the Consulates are not nearly as backlogged as Montreal, so I'm sure the rest of you will be hearing good news soon.

Checked NVC ,VM today and our file has been send to US embassy Nov. 9th. I will take this as a good news and will contact the emabasy Monday.

I was told by NVC that they will schedule the interview, but I guess in this case, the embassy wiil the do the scheduling.

HI, I'M NEW IN VJ , MY CASE COMPLETE IN OCT 5 AND YESTERDAY I GOT MY INTERVIEW DATE ON DECEMBER 21 !!!!!!
