Please help :)

My Fiance and me are thinking to get marry in court next week so we can apply for AOS immidiately, and have a big reception in Janury which my parents and friend will attend :)...

I am applying for different jobs now but who will hire me with JFK temporary work permit? that's why we decided to have court ceremony, but how it will look in AOS ceremony?

Thanks for advice :)

There isn't a difference whether you get married in the courthouse or in the chapel. For those couples that don't carry a religious faith or denomination, sometimes the courthouse is the only way to go. As well, a lot of couples usually have a legal ceremony so that they can get the AOS ball rolling, and follow up later on with a more formal wedding (especially considering that 90 days isn't a lot of time for people to plan!).

It'll be just fine. Plenty of couples marry quickly and without fanfare to get the paperwork started. :)

Its fine to get married by a Judge and totally acceptable, remember to get at least 3 copies of the marriage certificate. They will come in handy for future. As far as getting a job, just work at the mall.

It is good place to start off and they will hire seasonal help for 3 month anyway now for Christmas holiday season.
