Off to Montreal tomorrow for my Interview... Anything out of the ordinary I should know about?

I emailed the consulate and they advised me that If approved I could pick up my Visa the following day

our case was completed as of yesterday... could we update my timeline?

Also, I am wondering if calling makes a difference as to when we'll get our interview? Is it better to just sit and wait for them to get a hold of us?

I got to the consulate at 7 am & was first inline. Everything went very smoothly & I was out of there by 8:45 am.

You can call, but it won't speed anything up. I found it to just be an exercise in frustration. I think waiting to find out about the interview date was the most frustrating part of this process. I made the mistake of expecting/hoping for an interview in July, since my case was complete in early May, and I was pretty disappointed when that didn't happen. Hopefully they'll speed things up a bit, but it does seem to be pretty normal to wait around 3 months between case completion and the interview. So I would suggest calling every now and then just for the heck of it, but don't get your hopes up to find out anything just yet.

Yes they gave me a slip to come pick the visa tomorrow @ 3 PM

Good Luck to you and yes my interview experience was very similar to others... Try to be there for 7:00 that should get you to the front of the line.

Yeah, it would seem that you should be getting notification of your interview any time now. Generally time between completion at NVC and interview, as you have probably seen above, is 90-100 days, since you are at about the 60 day mark I would have expected that you would have been notified already!
