Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

Hey Trailmix, figured I would add myself as you recommended above!

Since I'm doing DCF i put my NOA2 date as the date I filed the I-130, but I see Reeena put the date the I-130 was approved - when was that? Is that the date of the Packet 3 coverletter?

Yes, but my timeline there is from filing I-130 (initial start of the process) to interview, whereas the other timelines are NOA2 to interview. I presume it takes some time from when you file the initial paperwork to getting the NOA2? If that takes more than a few weeks, DCF would be much shorter. (If not, then it would not be much different.)

I believe my date was the date I went to Toronto for them to approve the I 130... I know I mailed it in and a couple weeks later they called me to go to Toronto and it was approved that day, then they sent it to Montreal who then sent me my packet with the checklist. I sat on my checklist for a long time... when I could of just sent it back in since we technically had everything... but I procrastinated. So yes it can be much shorter.

Our Journey

6 June 2008- Mailed I130 to Toronto (DCF)

7 Nov 2008- I130 approved in Toronto!!

21 Nov 2008- Received Packet 3 from Montreal

4 Jan 2009- Mailed Packet back

9 Feb 2009- Medical in Toronto

24 Apr 2009- Interview in Montreal...Approved!!!

30 Apr 2009- Received Visa... few hours later crossed to border for the 6 day drive to Utah!!

6 Apr 2009- Arrived at our new HOME!!

13 May 2009- Welcome letter received

19 May 2009- Went to social security office and "applied" for SSN

22 May 2009- SS Card arrived in mail!! (I guess they did send in the paperwork at the interview...)

It doesn't seem like any CR1/IR1 applicants got an interview date in July....but quite a few K1 applicants were assigned July interview dates???!!!!!

Hmm, I wonder if they are taking a every other month approach to the different types of visas. Doesn't seem to make much sense, but who knows! I wonder which is the more popular visa for people coming from Canada.

OMG ME TOO! Finally. After all this time stressing and waiting. I have an interview date for August 17th, 2009. :dance::thumbs:

I just got the most awaited email today - Interview Aug 13, 2009 :dance::dance:

OMG ME TOO! Finally. After all this time stressing and waiting. I have an interview date for August 17th, 2009. :dance::thumbs:

Congratulations to both of you. :dance: I am SO jealous. Wow if you're mid August, ours must not be until September. Oh well. Congrats again to both of you and best of luck! Can't wait for your reviews.
