Just throwing a question out there for anybody who is dealing with finalizing shots, etc.....I have to get the gardisil vaccine (lucky me) and was told by my doctor it's a 3-step shot process. Anyone else have to get it/has received it yet? If I get it at Dr. Seiden's how will they fully vaccinate me?

I may be wrong but I don't think Dr. Seiden's office provides any vaccination services. You would need to begin the series of shots at your family MD. However, I think that if you have had at least the first shot by the time you have your medical you will be fine. It's then up to you to complete the series. You can email Dr. Seiden's offcice to be sure. They are pretty good at reponding in a timely manner.

Anyone else?

You just have to get the process started. I only had the first two shots when I had my medical and I was fine. They mark you as "eligible for a waver" based on "insufficient time intervals" on your medical report. That will be acceptable to Montreal. And I think OBX is right- get the vaccine from your MD.

I received the DS-3032 and AOS fee bill this evening via email. :) I submitted the DS-3032 when I got home from work, and my husband paid the AOS bill online tonight as well. I think I will send out the DS-3032 via regular mail tomorrow. I need to go get the police name check thingy tomorrow as well so I can mail it off to my husband since I left all my documents with him last week.

You can add me to the list. I don't have any dates to add yet as I am waiting for an NVC case number, but my NOA2 was March 25. Holliday got her NOA2 a few days before me as well so I know she can be added. I don't have her NOA2 date handy right this sec though. There are a few other February filers that were Canadian in our group also, but I'll have to look them up. Thanks Trailmix!

:) Thanks for looking out for me SomberCat! Oh, and congrats on the NOA2!

Trailmix, if you wouldn't mind adding me to the list...

NOA2 - 03/19/09

Case # @ NVC - 04/03/09

That's all I've got so far. Thanks!

Congrats! It looks like things are going quickly for you!

Thank you! And yes, things are moving right along for me! I've been incredibly lucky thus far. I read what you posted about the trouble you had with the sponsor thing at the interview. I'm sorry you're having to deal with all that. It just doesn't see fair! Best of luck to you with the remainder of the process!

Just throwing a question out there for anybody who is dealing with finalizing shots, etc.....I have to get the gardisil vaccine (lucky me) and was told by my doctor it's a 3-step shot process. It is quite a relief to me to hear that. I was a little concerned that they may be a little pickier in Montreal about approving CR-1s without the entire series of shots. I had only heard of K-1/K-3 people being approved with only one or two shots, but I hadn't heard anything about the experiences of CR-1 people. Thank you for putting my mind at ease! :)

Check out the link to Dr. Seiden's website. The vaccination link will list the age appropriate requirements.

They do not provide vaccinations at their office so you need to determine what you need based on your age and have them done prior to the medical. Good luck.

I have a question, for the postpaid xpressmailer that is self addressed... is that all it needed to be? What I mean is if you got the signature required postpaid xpressmailer and you put your address in the to part, is there anything else it needed? I am just waiting to find out if my husband was approved. We sent in the papers they asked for at the interview and got a letter stating the only thing they needed was a translated birth certificate, he got that and mailed it last Tuesday. I am just wondering if there was anything else that was needed on the mailer? I keep checking canadapost.ca for the tracking number and haven't heard anything yet.

I never really shared our review. Our interview was March 24. We got there early and were greeted at the door by a guard who asked for our interview letter and passports. Then he let us in and we went through the metal detectors. When they were done, they gave us a number and told us to walk down the stairs and wait in the waiting room until the guard came down the elevator at 8:05am and would escort us upstairs. When he came, everyone in the elevator crammed inside. Seriously, I had never been on an elevator with so many at one time before. Then those seeking a non-immigrant visa went to one side and those of us with an interview letter, sat in the other side of the waiting room for our name or number to be called. When they called us, they asked if our forms were correct with no spelin errors or if they needed to update anything. We gave our passports and they gave the baby and mine back. They said they would call us back again. So they callled us back and gave us back the originals of our documents and then told us they would call us back to speak with an officer. When we went back, they said they just wanted to talk to my husband and for the baby and I to go and wait in the waiting room. It was not a very long time and my husband came back with a letter stating we need to finish up the visa by mail because we were missing the affidavit of support for the joint sponsor's spouse(I864A). Now, the joint sponsor made more than 25% above poverty level for his household plus my husband, so I was confused at first, but we followed the instructions. Then we got a letter that we needed a translated birth certificate, which the NVC told us we didn't need since he was born in Quebec and the interview was in Quebec... so he got that and sent it in... we are now just waiting to see if he is approved or not. It really is an easy process, but my husband and I seem to have become the poster child for what not to do or what to becareful of... lol... I just hope this is a stumbling block that we will surpass soon. Good luck to all of you on your interviews. I hope you are reunited with your loved ones quickly!
