I called back. My case was completed today and the operator told me to call back the second week of December because they are done scheduling for December.

Technically if you have been married for 2 years at the time of the interview, I believe they would issue the IR1 rather than the CR1, however, I doubt you will have to wait until March for your interview.

If it is after March 15, then I wonder if we will get the 10 year green card instead of the 2 year one cuz our 2 year anniversary is March 15?

I saw some of those threads as well and I believe that they were for K1 visas.

From tracking other CR1 /IR1 applications I would think you would be on track to get an interview in Jan. However, with the holidays around the corner things may be slow through then. If you don't mind waiting until March it would be nice to get the 10 year green card and avoid all of the paperwork required in 2 years to remove conditions - not to mention saving some $ ! Good luck

lol thanks, but im freaking out, even though everyone says its not as bad. maybe im more freaked out on if we should walk or drive cuz its supposed to snow in the morning a little bit.

interview was ok except they want more proof of domicile. bank statements and voter info wasn't good enough, she wouldn't take it. so i have to sign a lease with my mother now, which is lame. but everything else was ok. we could've left the passport but choose to take it because her promise of after we send everything back it only takes two weeks doesn't fly with me. so sad face today.
