Right! We are actually driving to Ottawa tomorrow to visit my brother til Sunday then we'll drive to Montreal. We're taking the upstate NY way so my passport will already be with me.

I am originally from Sudbury, but moved to St. Kitts over 5 years ago. I like Welland due to hearing people speaking French all the time...reminds me of back home

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Green Card arrived today!!! WOO HOO!!!!! I've been checking the mail everyday just waiting for it.

One thing I can say, I've never seen so much detail with the security features in any other type of identification card before. It's crazy how much detail goes into making sure those things cannot be duplicated.

POE today! Went well, long but not stressful. Peace bridge was kinda busy, took an hour and a half before they even called my name. My husband and my mom were with me and we made the most of it. Lots of people watching, observing and enjoying CBP happenings. The officer that completed the process was slow but she was hilarious and we joked the entire time. Importing my car was painless, they never checked anything with the moving truck. The entire POE was 2.5 hours and I'm not mad about it.

So I got my USCIS Welcome letter today, along with another 'receipt notice' which looked eerily familiar to the NOA2. It came in a separate envelope, does anyone know what exactly this is?
