I just got off the phone with DHL, they told me to ignore the "available date" as this is what happens due to the new system. All they are looking for is that you have picked your DHL location. So YAY!!!!! we are all ok :)

The consulate must have changed the interview process. Despite getting a letter with a time and date for interview, it was well acknowledged that it was first come first served. And that's how it was when I interviewed in July. However, your post seems to indicate something about not showing up at a certain time. I got there very very early and was first in line because I wanted to coveted letter A....it was the sport of it haha...but it worked out well as I was out early.

But it does sound like maybe the first come, first served thing may be changed. I'd find out from those who are recently interviewing to be sure; otherwise you want to get there early and wait it out at the front doors.

Congrats to all of those with interviews !! It's finally moving, great to see.

Hey Everyone,

Just popping in to say Hi. I just added myself and my husband to the Montreal spreadsheet waiting list. From what I've seen I expect a long wait for the interview. Congrats to the people who got theirs this week! I don't expect our until around January time frame. Figured I'd get familiar with everyone else stuck on the Montreal waiting list. :)

At my medical today I learned from a Guy doing his medical that cr-1 (spousal visas) are now being scheduled through dhl for sure. He was sent a letter 2 weeks ago that told him to go online and schedule his interview. He was very confused about how to do this but I tried to walk him through it the best I could. I felt like so smart as Everyone I talked to was asking me questions about the process, interview and the dhl mail delievry.

I want to thank everyone for helping me along the way as I wouldn't know anything with this site :)

My interview is now in 23 days, I cannot wait YAY!

4 months since our case complete. Who would have thought we'd still be waiting for our interview?

At this point, the voice recording is taunting me "if it's been more than 8 weeks from this date, please press # to speak to an operator". Haha! I would LOVE for it to have been only 8 weeks!!!!

You are next in line, Hang in there. I completely know how you feel, I was waiting forever and I kept hiting # when I heard if its been 8 weeks. NVC doesn't help very much, they can only tell you that you dont have a date and that they will be schedule again soon. It is a new month though so I would give them a call and see if there is a interview letter yet or if they have started to schedule again.

best of luck

Has anybody trying calling yet for this month? Or are we all "patiently" waiting for the 2nd week of the month to see if they are scheduling for November yet? All I get is a busy signal when I try. Getting antsy and the anxiety is kicking in big time.

I just dealt with 3 days of busy signals for my NVC case number...I'm beginning to loathe them. I hope our time through NVC goes quickly, so we can be at interview time soon. Good luck with getting an interview date.

I called yesterday afternoon . . . got the busy signal several times, but just kept redialing right away and got through on about the 5th try. Then was on hold for about 5 - 10 minutes. Got the standard response . . . you are eligible for an interview, interviews will be scheduled during the second week of the month, try calling back on the 18th . . . blah, blah, blah.

I see that some folks from other countries are starting to get November interview dates . . hopefully we'll see some activity for Montreal soon.
