Ok this is gay, I dont understand. Now its telling me to schedule a appt on oct 26th...i have a damn appointment.. I am sooo confused

Ohhh, I see. I don't know... That doesn't make any sense! It says you must be registered on the site to receive documents back from the consulate but they don't let you register without selecting a date? That is gay! I'm sorry I can't help! :bonk:

You have to have the interview letter/p4 to schedule your own date which in turn is weird cause if you have the interview letter then you already have a date. Confusing

But it doesnt stop there then once you have your date they want to give you another one when you try to sign up for dhl mailing system again :wacko:

Correct me if I'm wrong but NVC gives you a date ( email ) and then you go to this new online site. RIGHT ?? It's not like after NVC complete you can merrily schedule your own interview ;)

Yeah NVC gives you a date (for cr-1 atleast) and then you go online to sign up for the new mail service as they are eliminating the envelope(however It is confusing). You can also reschedule an interview through this site.

I finally got through to the NVC (after about another 15 attempts) and the operator didn't know anything about this other number. He talked to his supervisor and said the interview still has to come through/from the NVC. So it appears the interview date I got is a non-starter; I'll call the 514... number tomorrow and try and talk to a supervisor.

They did say that October appointments are still being booked, so it sounds like some more folks will get October appointments. Would be nice if they got caught up all the through the June case completes :) , but I'm not optimistic that they will get that far.

Talked to the 514... number folks . . . today the person I talked to was quite clear that they can't schedule green card interviews . . . so no appt for me yet. Back to waiting on the NVC.

Question: How hard are you finding it to get through to the NVC? I'm calling 603-334-0700 and seem to get a busy signal all the time. Took me about 25 - 30 attempts to get through yesterday; finally got through at about 11:00 PM Eastern time and then was on hold for about 20 minutes.

I used to call within the first 30 minutes of them opening the phone lines, it was the only way I could get thru.

Hi ski10,

I've added you to the timeline spreadsheet. This should give you an idea how long you can expect to wait after your NVC completion date to receive an interview date. As far as we know the new appointment system is not relevant until NVC has issued you a date. We're all still a bit confused if/how this new system is relevant to us.

Timeline spreadsheet:

You don't have your VJ timeline filled out yet so I don't know the rest of your dates. Feel free to update the spreadsheet yourself with your dates.

I used the new CSC site to register my DHL location last night . . . with no problems at all.

But today, I tried a few times to login, using different computers, and even different browsers (Mozilla, Chrome) . . . because I keep getting a security warning!!

Something along the lines that: "You attempted to reach usvisa-info.com, but instead you actually reached a server identifying itself as www.usvisagroups.com. This may be caused by a misconfiguration on the server or by something more serious. An attacker on your network could be trying to get you to visit a fake (and potentially harmful) version of usvisa-info.com. You should not proceed."

Anyone else encountered this problem today??

Weird!
