I'm still rather annoyed by the whole petitioner birth certificate thing. I've sent an email to NVC Montreal for clarification. I don't know if my wife can get a certified copy to me in three weeks...and I wouldn't want her to have her original taken.

I think my husband has an extra one, I'll ask him to bring it "just in case". I wonder if they would still ask for it if he's with me with his US passport and all... Please let me know if you get the confirmation that it is a requirement. Merci :)

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

I`m still waiting for a reply to my request for rescheduling- 3 weeks now. Can`t these clowns send off a one word email- yes or no!

Me too, I am thinking they may just send us new letters with the next batch. Did you get an email or hard copy notice? I am DCF so it is all paper-based. If I haven't heard anything by tomorrow, I am going to send a follow up email....

Well at least Lyn and Lisa might still get the originals back. They did take our marriage cert and my Husband's birth certificate and returned them with the visa, in the mail. I think they just kept them to photocopy and then return.

I am not DCF- we went through NVC, so they sent us an email concerning the date of the interview.

I already sent a follow up email about 10 days ago- also no response.

The automated response says that a rescheduling request should be answered within 4-5 business days and be rescheduled for approx. 2- 3 months in the future.

They never wrote back to me about one question I had... I got the generic email with the FAQ. I'll print the "answer" they sent me just in case it becomes an issue.

I got the fancy Expresspost with the skier too :)

This is for those who got approved. How long did it take for the consulate to mail your visa and or how many days did it take till you got it. This would be a good poll question. I don't want an average but an exact time frame. Anyone, anyone... :unsure:

Also is it true they only send out mail or express-post mail on Monday's?

i had my interview Friday the 5th...Monday 8th tracking said it was in Montreal...got to my door 11:45 today, the 10th!

This is so frustrating ...

Don't go by what the NVC agents say. Trust me. There have been far too many accounts of them being wrong / misinformed for you to view them as reliable sources. While I doubt you'll get a March date, I wouldn't be surprised if you are at least scheduled for April in the next week or two...if not this afternoon.
