Yup. From their timeline:

Your I-130 was approved in 17 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 53 days from your I-130 NOA1 date.

53 days from NOA1 to interview is unheard of...

I saw OP mentioned in a post on another thread about border patrol asking to see his MIL ID, so I presume it might have been some sort of expedited process for military.

I think there's a good chance of Friday for you! Impossible to KNOW...but they've typically been scheduling on the second Friday of the month...other than last month's clearout in the third week, of course.

I'd venture to guess they'll be scheduling for April now though.

I also feel the same.. that they will schedule for April.

As long as they let us know the date. The wait is killing and frustrating

Yeah...it's pretty tough. I had to wait exactly ten weeks...and was in the same boat as you, given that there was a bunch of people scheduled with NVC completion dates up to a mere ten days before mine! You missed the mass scheduling by about ten days too.

It really looks like they're humming along now though. I doubt you'll have to endure the horrible FIFTEEN weeks that Lgg did.

By the way, not to be a downer at all, but I had really thought the waiting AFTER the interview date was scheduled would be FAR easier than the wait to be scheduled in the first place... But it's not, really. Not for me at least. Waiting is still waiting!

Yeah, word on that. Why'd I think that sticking around for almost a whole month would be a good idea? The extra cash'll be nice, I guess. But I am HATING the horrible mass amounts of good-byes and such that are occuring and the complete invasion of my time and space. You all might think otherwise but I'm a pretty insular person -- I need a lot of time to myself and my dance card, so to speak, is stuffed full and I'm feeling slightly panicked.

Just a random complaint. Don't get me wrong. I love my people here and I will miss them but the clashing of emotions of hellos and goodbyes is a little hard on a person's brain.

Yeah. No offense AT ALL, my dear Froggie, but I always wondered why you opted to stay an extra few weeks too! Granted, I'm largely friendless and workless here right now, meaning I can make a clean break ASAP...but yeah. I can't wait until the day I get my passport back, because that means I'll be out the door by 6:00 AM the next morning!

Oh non taken at all, my friend... but yeah, I have two jobs that needed sufficient notice and lots of friends and buddies that I needed/want to spend some time with. Like I said, it's not a bad thing, it's just so odd the clashing of feelings going on right now -- may have been better to have just 'bandaged' it. And by that, I mean a swift, clean ripping off and such to avoid prolonging the pain.

I got my approval today in Montreal. Woohoo!!!! had a bit of a scare, I had the letter B so was basically first through the initial part and the fingerprinting but waited till 11:50am to get called in. I was extremely stressed and wondering if they forgot about me. When I was called in they said they were waiting for a document for my case and hoping to get it by noon or I would have to come back. I asked, was it because of EP? She said it was. To nervous to question her on it because the interview was in progress and all i wanted to hear was "approved" and I did. So I don't know if this will effect anyone else doing EP and I don't know what the document was.

Still in Montreal for a couple days but my review other than that above was the same as everyone esle. Step by step and the people that didn't come to this site got screwed over basically.
