Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

I am still waiting for a real NOA-1. I just saw that someone with an app date in Sept got a NOA-2. I am so frustrated.

My blog

10/01/2005: Married in Toronto

02/15/2006: Began Canadian Immigration

09/19/2007: Withdrew CIC application (they still hadn't processed anything)

10/01/2007: Moved back to U.S.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

IR-1 application through Montreal Consulate

10/26/2007: I-130 mailed to CA Service Center

10/29/2007: USPS confirmation of receipt of I-130

02/13/2008: NOA-1 received (107 days)

07/02/2008: I-130 approved

07/22/2008: AOS filed including EAD and AP

07/25/2008: NOA-1s for all 3 received

08/20/2008: Biometrics appointment

08/22/2008: Received RFE for Affadivit of Support and Medical

10/21/2008: Submitted I-865W in lieu of co-sponsor and medical info to NSC

11/14/2008: online case status not updated since filing of AOS in July 2008

01/20/2009: Received another RFE for Affadavit of Support Info

02/02/2009: Responded to RFE with brand new AOS based on 2008 tax return (if that doesn't shut them up, dunno what will)

02/19/2009: EAD card received in mail (no updates on Online Case Status ever made)

02/23/2009: AP received (again, no online updates)

02/26/2009: Received interview appointment letter for 4/6/09

04/06/2009: AOS approved for unconditional GC

04/21/2009: GC received

Oh man..... nothing to be concern about here... move along...trust me, its not a big deal to look at... nahh.. this is just a tiny teeny atom-size annoucement.. just something about March 17th, 8am. :huh:

congrats!!!

Canadians Visiting the USA while undergoing the visa process, my free advice:

1) Always tell the TRUTH. never lie to the POE officer

2) Be confident in ur replies

3) keep ur response short and to the point, don't tell ur life story!!

4) look the POE officer in the eye when speaking to them. They are looking for people lieing and have been trained to find them!

5) Pack light! No job resumes with you

6) Bring ties to Canada (letter from employer when ur expected back at work, lease, etc etc)

7) Always be polite, being rude isn't going to get ya anywhere, and could make things worse!!

8) Have a plan in case u do get denied (be polite) It wont harm ur visa application if ur denied,that is if ur polite and didn't lie! Refer to #1

There is still hope for my husband to be scheduled in Feb for April!! WOOOOHOOOO!! I thought they were slowing down.

That's either your court date or the date of your interview. :lol: I'm guessing it might be the later. :lol: CONGRATS!!!! :dance: Good luck and remember to keep your stick on the ice. :thumbs: I'll bet the suspense is un-bearmirus-able. :lol:

2007-07-27 – Case complete at NVC waiting on the world or at least MTL.

2007-12-19 - INTERVIEW AT MTL, SPLIT DECISION.

2007-12-24-Mom's I-551 arrives, Pop's still in purgatory (AP)

2008-03-11-AP all done, Pop is approved!!!!

BEARMIRUS!!!!!!!! I am SOOOOOOOO happy for you!! When/How did you find out?

There is still hope for my husband to be scheduled in Feb for April!! WOOOOHOOOO!! I thought they were slowing down.

You know how when its one of those days you feel a bit ... :wacko::wacko: ..blahhh ? Well, I was feeling that way and figured what do I have to lose by calling NVC a bit early that day (Feb 1st). Well, I called them just a bit after 7pm and they told me that they scheduled me that morning for the interview! Oh man.. was I ever felt like jumping over the moon! :dance:

The operator also advised me to wait until I get a letter in the mail for "modified" medical appointment. :blink: She wouldn't elaborate on what she means by "modifed". So I guess I have to wait a week or so before I find out what that means. I'll be sure to let you guys know too.

kcmetzy, there's still hope! Give NVC a hollar and perhaps your husband is all set!

I listened to voice message Sunday tonight once I saw Bearmirus exciting post here! My case is also forwarded to ML now. Not sure when is the interview date, must be around Bearmirus interview date since we complete cases on the same day.

Will post the interview date tomorrow once I called NVC.

I see some other people completed case in Dec, so all of them should get interview in March now. Finally ML is catching up...

April 28 2007 sent I-130 to NVC

May 22 2007 application transfered to CSC

July 11 2007 received NOA1, decide to apply CR1 instead of K3

Aug 14 2007 touched (not sure if it is touched before Aug 14)

Aug 21 2007 NOA2 in snail mail :)

Aug 27 2007 NVC received our case, number is assigned.

Sep 11 2007 DS3032 and AOS bill generated and mailed out

Sep 12 2007 mailed out DS3032 from Canada and hubby mailed AOS bill in US. DS3032 will arrive NVC 3 days slower than AOS bill.

Sep 18 2007 Auto msg says NVC received DS3032, didn't mention AOS bill yet.

Sep 24 2007 IV fee bill generated

Oct 8 received IV fee bill. Still waiting for 864form

Oct 13 received 864form letter. It was issued on Sep 24 at NVC. Mailed out 864 on Oct 15

NVC agent said they don't receive IV fee bill nor 864. Send out IV fee bill again end of Oct.

Nov 8 IV fee bill entered to system

Nov 12 DS230 generated. But agent still said 864 is not received yet.

Nov 20 resend out 864 again(Hubby forgot to write case number on documents last time)

Nov 27 NVC Auto message said received 864, now waiting for 230

Nov 29 230 delivered. Will arrive at NVC next day.

Dec 3 NVC received 230 and put into its system

Dec 13 NVC operator told us the case is in administrative process.

Dec 14 Called operator again, and magically the case is completed!

Just called NVC and the recording now says my case was forwarded to MTL on Feb. 1!

I listened to voice message Sunday tonight once I saw Bearmirus exciting post here! My case is also forwarded to ML now. Not sure when is the interview date, must be around Bearmirus interview date since we complete cases on the same day.

Will post the interview date tomorrow once I called NVC.

I see some other people completed case in Dec, so all of them should get interview in March now. Finally ML is catching up...
