Wow!!

Congratulations everyone - this is great news :)

Oh and can we now put to rest the NVC folklore that interviews are only scheduled in the first two weeks of the month

Sadly we never filled out a timeline page. We have been very fortunate with our process. We didn't start til September 2009. Our case was complete on December 5th at the NVC. We received our interview appointment today for March 10th. Looks like Montreal really stepped it up. Congrats to everyone who received their appointments and I am sure it will not be long for the rest.

I bought my Garmin in Washington and it works perfect when I am in Canada.....I just updated it on the computer and BOOM....everything is there!!!

I have a GPS but it blocks the canadian maps, so I gotta borrow one of our friends. I drove to Quebec once, I freaked out at the signs, "where's the English!!!"

Hehe. Very true.

For ME, there's probably a big benefit to having a March date, since the weather should be a lot better for my drive across America. :)

Regarding the vaccinations:

My hubby has no proof of his. The public health unit would require him to go there, fill out a form, then they'd send it off to see if they have it offsite. Well, we're kinda pressed for time. He only requires MMR, TDap, and Chicken pox (which he had, just need the year for that one). Should I just have him go to the doctor and get the MMR/TDap? He's going to have to have the TDap anyway.

Might as well have him get them again. Should be less than $100, I think, and removes ALL doubt!

I had chicken pox in 1995...and have a couple small pock marks on my cheek as evidence, if they need it. :P
