Kind of shocked that know one on VJ has gotten an interview date for Feb. yet.

TRUST ME!!! I have been checking my email every hour on the hour!!! This is a killer!!!!!

Sucks that until you get the interveiw date...EVERYTHING is like on HOLD!! You can't book your medical..or your flight or hotel or anything!!!!!

I wish they could schedule interviews months in advance, at least. I would have been perfectly satisfied with a February or March date if it was granted in mid-December...

I know it's a dumb question but anybody on VJ receive a date for Feb yet? We were hoping to hear something/anything by Friday but here it is Thursday night and no news yet and as far as I can find anywhere nobody else has any good news from Montreal yet either. I know a few people at other consulates around the world have gotten dates but only crickets from Montreal so far...

Virtual silence for about a month now...which is rather scary, I must admit.

Feb scheduling SHOULD be in full swing by now. It's also disconcerting to see that only six CR-1s were scheduled for all of this month...

Ugh.

I'll be calling tomorrow and plan to have a fairly long conversation with them, if I can...not that it will do anything. But since tomorrow is officially my "eight weeks" since NVC case complete, and you get to press "0" when that happens...well...I'm pressing "0"!

Ok, I have been calling almost every single day for the last 4 weeks...nothing yet.

I emailed on Monday...nothing yet.

I wish they would start with the interviews. If they dont I may have to haul my butt to montreal and just sit on the step and wait for my interview there. Hey maybe I can offer some assistance seeing as I'm there anyway...lol

Im pretty sure all my backup supply of Patience in depleted...

This is crazy and there is nothing that can be done.

I know they are backlogged and can't help the delay but it doesnt make it easier on this end.

I honestly thought we would be pretty much finished up last Oct....well...I was wrong! lol

Nope...Electronic Processing is a separate beast that you would have had to "opt in" to.

we paid our fees online as well, but we got emails when thet requested more info..like when they didn't like my BC....and when I called NVC she told me we would get an Email regarding the interveiw....( I say this because I cannot for the life of me remember if we signed up for the EP....I ASSUME we did.....can anyone clarify???)

Gawd I get so tired of asking these dumb questions...feels like my brain went to mush 6 months ago!!!

If you sent an opt-in email to an NVCMontreal address, received an opt-in acknowledgement, then scanned in ALL of your documents and emailed them to that address in two separate installments, then yes, you did Electronic Processing. Otherwise, no, you didn't.

Regular processing has an email component to it...but EP is done completely via email.

Hey Guys,

So my wife called wednesday and asked about an interview for us as well. She's on the american side of things and like usual no date. They did say they are going to start scheduling interviews next week for Montreal. Well till another week.....
