Hey thanks guys! I appreciate it.

I emailed montreal a couple of times once I got a response nothing else since. Im thinking it can't be too much longer. But who knows til we actually have it right?

In the packet 3 letter, it says that if you have waited longer than 4-6 months to contact them 'immediately'. I guess that you are in that window, right? It can't hurt to send them an email again, especially if you nicely say that you started this process nearly a year ago...

May 23rd 2009: Engaged in Iceland!

October 31st 2009: Married in Quebec!

December 30th 2009: I-130 sent

January 11th 2010: NOA1

March 09th 2010: NOA2

August 8th 2010: Done at NVC

January 14th 2011: INTERVIEW IN MONTREAL!!

In the packet 3 letter, it says that if you have waited longer than 4-6 months to contact them 'immediately'. I guess that you are in that window, right? It can't hurt to send them an email again, especially if you nicely say that you started this process nearly a year ago...

Ok, I sent another email and of course all I got was the generic automated response.. We will see if I get a response

I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Americana and hopefully we'll see interviews for everyone who completed up to Nov (at least)

Weeell...calling the NVC to find out isn't all that productive, as evidenced by Lgg who called in the morning and was told there was nothing, and was emailed her interview date in the afternoon of the same day.

I WILL call on Thursday, as that will be the eight-week mark since my case was completed...but I'm not holding my breath that they'll tell me anything interesting.

Married: 07-03-09

I-130 filed: 08-11-09

NOA1: 09-04-09

NOA2: 10-01-09

NVC received: 10-14-09

Opted In to Electronic Processing: 10-19-09

Case complete @ NVC: 11-13-09

Interview assigned: 01-22-10 (70 days between case complete and interview assignment)

Medical in Vancouver: 01-28-10

Interview @ Montreal: 03-05-10 -- APPROVED!

POE @ Blaine (Pacific Highway): 03-10-10

3000 mile drive from Vancouver to DC: 03-10-10 to 3-12-10

ok...dumb question here.....but I didn't know emailing Montreal was an option....I have called NVC and been told.."nothing yet"....Does it make a difference to email?? If so, could someone forward the email addy to me and an brief outline of what would be appropriate to send?? THANKS!!

I called DOS this am and they said again that we are eligible for and interview but nothing yet, I am still waiting for a repy from Montreal through the email I sent on Monday

Hi FF, you call the NVC to check for your interview status, unless of course you are Direct COnsular filing then I believe you can call DOS...

Others will correct me if I'm wrong but NVC is your main vein to interview land.
