Why is it that hisgirl didnt get an interview scheduled yet but LeprechaunSean did even though their case was completed on same day?

Why do we have people still waiting for interviews even when their case was completed before the ones who had the interview scheduled already??

I really wish Montreal can answer us on how the interviews are scheduled or maybe even post their interview schedule online so we can atleast see how far they are booked until and set up right expectations for ourselves? Isnt there some consulates that do post their interviews schedule online? I remember reading in a thread about that.

No idea how they prioritize people - they told me it was done by completion date at NVC - however that is obviously not the case at all - seems to be fairly random at the moment. Yes, there are consulates who post their interview schedules online, there are also consulates that provide a lot of information on their websites - unfortunately the U.S. government obviously does not feel that Canadians/Canada deserves that kind of service/respect.

I have a theory about all this. But I don't think I'll post it lest I get in ####### from the very sensitive Montreal consulate as apparently those poor, hard-working folks with their very well-run system can't be called out on the fact that this actually is a horribly system, in need of an upgrade and is thu, just plain infuriating to have to deal with.

Aw... thanks Varba! It's not the dejected, it's the fact that it's starting to get a little scary and infuriating! It feels like it's never going to come. I'd even be thrilled if they cleared out all the rest of the June/July finishers. The fact that they're just plain not doing any is starting to get scary to me.

The fact that they don't post dates and such like the USCIS, the fact that they tell us nothing is just odd and mean and disrespectful....

VJ has indeed been a godsend!

My wife thinks it's adorable that I've fallen in with a bunch of other soon-to-be Canuck ex-pats. She refers to you all as my "friends". "Whatcha doing, honey...oh, just checking in with your friends?"

I can't imagine what mental state I'd be in without VJ...and I'd definitely be behind the curve in terms of preparedness for the interview and virtually everything else.
