NVC

July 8, 2009 to August 10, 2009 - 28 days

Interview Assigned - December 3, 2009 - FINALLY!!

Medical - December 14, 2009 - Passed

Embassy/Interview - January 26, 2010 Montreal, Quebec Canada - 167 days PASSED!!!

Port of Entry - February 26, 2010 Baltimore International, Maryland

USCIS -- ROC package sent off

November 26, 2011 to Vermont station November 30, 2011 received NOA1December 16, 2011 received biometrics appointment.

January 04, 2012 Biometrics

September 2, 2012, RFE Received.

September 22, 2012 RFE responded to

October 15, 2012 ROC approved, 10 Green card on its way.

Kinda disapointing to see no names on the bottom of that list have any interview dates scheduled. No interviews scheduled in Montreal(Minus Cndwife) Lets hope those names get dates soon!

Hey everybody waiting I just checked when I got my interview date and it was this day last month. So be ready as I had less than 3 weeks to my interview! I hope all the June group get to finish this

Me neither . . . at this point I'm assuming that Montreal has fallen behind even further and I won't see a December appointment. How it can end up taking them 3 months to get through the June case co

Oh and one other detail about Sierratango. His I-130 was outside of processing times so he did contact his congressman - now whether that moved things along at the consulate stage - not sure.

Certainly looks like Dec interviews are scarce. No updates to the matrix

I was told, CR1's with end of june NVC completed cases have started to get December Interviews. Anyone ? please let us know regarding your timeline so we can get the thread updated. Goodluck to all those still waiting for an Interview.

I feel bad for those of you still waiting. Looking at the time frames, I would think that no one will wait longer than around 155 days from date complete to interview since that seems to be the longest wait time. Even though that is a ridiculously long time, I think LGG should get an interview no later than mid January.

Either way, I'm still keeping my fingers crossed for all of you!

I'm having a "Hmm" moment from a link that Missa posted. In the link, it gives a quick bio blurb about the Deput Consul General, aka the super nice director guy!

In it it says, "Prior to his arrival in September 2007." TM, wasn't there a noted speed increase around the end of 2007? I'm wondering if there is a connection.

So I just got some weird email... I had sent in a request to expedite about a month ago, and the NVC finally replied. After a MONTH!

Dear Sir/Madame:

Your inquiry has been received at the National Visa Center (NVC).

Please be advised, the NVC may begin expedite procedures for petitions

which have available visas 120 days prior to the beneficiary's 21st

birthday.

However, all documentation necessary to complete the National Visa

Center's processing has been received. As soon as an interview date has

been scheduled, the designated representative of this case (applicant,

petitioner, or attorney) will be notified. The U.S. Embassy or Consulate

General may require additional documentation at the time of the

interview.

So, what exactly does that mean? Expedite doesn't need to be done because case is complete? That wouldn't make sense because the interview date is what's affecting it in the first place, the USCPA would apply if it was at the NVC, but it doesn't transfer over at the consulate (my understanding).. anyone have an idea what they mean?

Honestly, I wouldn't worry about it. That looks like a pretty generic letter to me, simply acknowledging that they received your request. Chances are, someone at NVC will go to follow up on it, realize that your case has been complete for over a week, and just get rid of the request, or send you another generic email telling you that they can't expedite your case. If you're feeling uneasy about it, I would call an NVC agent...but since you've been at Case Complete for awhile, I think you'll be fine.

P.S.: Trailmix, you might want to update with Greenhaus' interview date. :)
