Hi all -

We just got packet #3 (yea!!!) and are ready to return the checklist, 2 photos, DS-230 (bio info) and passport copy to get the interview process underway.

Do we also need to send in the DS-156k and the DS-157 at this time?

I'm just not clear if these documents should be sent in immediately or kept on hand until the interview.

Many thanks in advance! =)

Congrats on your packet 3...

Here are the required documents you send to the embassy for scheduling the K1 visa interview:

- DS-230 Part I (unsigned)

- Packet 3 checklist

- 2 immigrant passport-style photographs

- Photocopy of passport photo page

I also wrote a cover letter with some of my personal info (e.g., tell number, email address, and my case number) and list of what I enclosed with the letter (the 4 things above).

Keep the rest to take with you on the interview date. Good luck.
