HOW DOES ONE ADD A "TOUCH" TO THEIR TIME LINE? THE LAST ONE LISTED ON THE USCIS WAS WAY BACK IN 7/13/06!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! THAT CANT BE GOOD , CAN IT? IT SEEMS SINCE MY SO INTERVIEW NOTHING HAS BEEN DONE WITH MY PETITON. OOOOOOO DREAD. THE INTERVIEW WAS ON 11/14/06. NEARLY A YEAR NOW.

Officially Engaged December 24th, 2007!!!

Moved to the U.S. to be with my baby on July 19th, 2008 on a K1 visa!!!!

NO WE HAVE NOT RECIEVED A VISA YET. AND A YEAR AGO AFTER THE INTERVIEW MY SO WAS TOLD HE WOULD HEAR FROM THEM IN ONE MONTH. MY GONGRESS MAN HAS EMAILED THE CAIRO EMBASSY ON SEVERAL OCCASIONS. AND THE REPLY IS ALWAYS 2 SENTENCES.... THE CASE IS IN ADMINISTRATIVE PROCESS. YOU WILL BE NOTIFIED WHEN IT IS COMPLETE. I'M FEELING HOPLESS SAD TO SAY. BUT TRUE.

Wow, that is...insane.... :blink: You should have recieved the visa in a few days to a week by mail if you were approved. Are you sure you were approved????

I have no idea what you should do, contact an immigration lawyer..have you tried calling and talking to an actual person about this?

the beneficiary's country is Egypt; unfortunately there are a lot of hold-ups in that part of the world

if you go down to the MENA forum, you'll see them talking about being 'stuck in AP' after their interview, and before the visa is issued - not sure what it stands for, but it's not Advanced Parole, so I'm guessing it's Administrative Processing, like the letter says... an extra level of security checks for people of Middle East and North African origin

OP, have you visited the MENA forum? you'll get a lot more specific information there; loads of people going through the same thing

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.
