I sent all required paperwork in (I-129F) . I just received my paperwork back today. They stated all signatures had to be originals, and to sign and resubmit. Ok, all signatures were originals signed in black ink as stated. Looking at my signature, it is the same color as the printer ink, buy NOT a copy. Will they accept my signature in blue ink? I don't know any other way to make ut look REAL. Thanks

Same thing happened to me! Dam printers are to good now and you can hardly tell the difference unless you can see the shine of the ball pen ink.

To me it's all BS but you have to "play" the stupid game USCIS plays.

Use red ink!! Kidding! I sent back with blue and it flew.

That's just rediculous. I signed with black ink because it's stated on the form and got approved. I don't see how they can think a signature is not original unless the way you signed it looks as if it is in a printed format, which I highly doubted. This is unfortunate because they will process your case as if they just received it from new.

Yep, I would be affraid to sign in black again. The most aggravating thing is, I sent the paperwork in a nice neat binder, numbered partitions to make it easy for them too find everything. I get it back, no binder, papers out of order and for what ever reason , my pictures were not in the plastic ziplock bags, they were in an envelope, and all this was shipped in a ripped beat up envelope!! :bonk:

Wow I'm so sorry to hear that. That is so freakin' stupid. So do you have to wait for the whole process again, or do you just send it in and they approve it right then and there??

Well, it only took one week to send and get it back, so they said to "Comply to their instructions and sign and resubmit. So as of now, that's all the time i've lost.

I had nice tabs at the bottom thinking to make it easy for them and I saw the petition at the AOS they were all ripped off including part of the pages with them. Looked like sh!t.

Flew tho!

You're scaring me! I signed in black and it looked a bit like a copy. They've had my petition since september 26th, but no NOA1 yet. If they hold onto the petition for this long and then reject it, I will not be happy. That'd be at least 2 months lost! Hopefully, no problems though.

Just really worries me though, because I doubt they've even looked at the petition yet. The first step is usually NOA1, so they probably havn't even checked if the signatures are ok :(

We signed everything in black ink and had no issues. (Thise whole Blue/Black Ink comes up a lot - On the I-129f instructions it clearly says Black Ink..)

1. Type or print legibly in black ink.
