May 9th Sent I-129 petition

May 16th NOA1 telling us they sent our case to California Service Center

June 23rd IMBRA RFE

Sept. 5th NOA2!!!!

Dec. 12th Interview at Consulate APPROVED!!!

Dec. 14th Visa received

2007

March 19th Move to the US!

AOS

June 15th Sent AOS and AED package

June 25th NOA1s for AOS and AED

July 21st Appointment for Biometrics

July 24th RFE (co-sponsor's passport copy) sent back

Sept. 10th EAD aproved

Sept. 12th EAD card received in the mail

Oct. 9th AOS Interview. APPROVED!!!

Oct. 19th GREEN CARD received!!

126 days!!!

Thanks all! It really varies from one person to another. Some have it easy and some hard. That's life i guess. Well.....Good luck to all.

just an update since i responded to this post the other day... I already got our interview appointment letter today in the mail & our big day will be on January 29, 2008. by the way weare k3/k4 v-holder just dont know how to change status here in vj. good luck hope u receive ur approval soon (better than appointment interview letter hehehe)

To change status: go to "My Controls" at the top of this page, then "Edit Profile Information" then use the drop down box under "Immigration Status".

Also, you can go to "My Assistant" then click on "Edit/Add My Timeline" and use the drop down box under "Visa Type".

Took me some time to figure it out too! :wacko:

i had my biometrics in Sacramento, CA., is that the same office where i will have my interview? thanks!

Biometrics is just a processing place. The interview will be at the local Immigration office.

biometrics February 23, 2006. Still waiting for interview....we had one but they cancelled it and never bothered to reschedule! sigh...

I-485 , I-765, I-130: NOA1 : 1/23/2006

Biometrics 2/23/2006

Temporary EAD given for 1 month ONLY b/c of Infopass appt: 5/1/2006

Went back to renew EAD through Infopass: EAD card was not given "due to reasons we can't disclose"

5/3/2007: Confirmation that EAD is delayed due to background checks. (started to use the senator, ombudsman and was just a royal pain in the neck)

5/30/2007: EAD production ordered (after over 400 days of waiting!!! woo hoo!)

AOS Interview: 5/12/2008!!! FINALLLYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

7/29/2008: card production ordered...918 days..can't wait to see that card!
