Mmmmm don't talk to me about food - I am in serious diet mode before next month as we are having our non legal wedding!!! Still don't know if I will fit in my dress!!

hmm - well, that (ie finding the great restaurant) was lunch on New Year's Eve; I had only a smoked salmon entrée (that's a starter for all you yankees :P ) for dinner that night, got sick then next day, and since then have had:

1 omelette

2 x scrambled eggs

1 jelly fruit cup

lots and lots of lemonade

given that today's the 5th, I consider that reasonably belt-tightening ;)

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

when I'm sick the only things I eat is buttered toast and jelly (not at same time). I'm a cranberry juice addict so I drink loads of that anyway but when I'm sick the local store usually runs out.

I never eat anything buttery or oily when I'm ill - well, with stomach complaints; anything goes with colds and flu ;)

and I don't like eating too much bread at the best of times... plus with having to travel for most of the day yesterday I didn't want to risk anything so didn't eat a single bite on Thursday or Friday (just the scramblie when I got in ;) )

just had some noodles... they needed some flavouring but everything I had seemed too rich :unsure:

oh, and I LOVE jelly - can't get enough, sick or well :D

(that's different from jam, again for our trans-Atlantic friends :P )

hahaha...yeah forgot the jelly issue. I love jelly too...the wobbly stuff not the stuff you put on bread...especially orange or strawberry flavour. I'm making prawn stirfry tonight with noodles.

ohhhh... seafood.... I would LOVE to go to the fish markets in Sydney and get a seafood platter, with prawns, scallops, mussels, baby octopus, Balmain bugs, and a nice chunk of white fish *drool*

Hmmmm well I like fish but the weird squiddy octopus shellfish things just don't appeal to me! I love prawns in a salad though and I like crab :) I just don't like it hot... which is weird :lol:

prawns..yum, mussels...yum, squid...yum, tuna...yum (tuna sushi even more yum), white fish...yum. I love it all. However I do think lobster is over-rated.

i love smoked salmon, especially with mustard and dill dressing. I can eat raw fish but I can't stand rare steak. I like it a wee bit pink but if any blood comes out...yuurrg!

sushi is my favourite food in the world EVER and I could eat it every day :)

I like my steak rare and don't mind the blood at all :P

and I can't believe I didn't mention crab - I LOVE crab meat! oh, I'm feeling so hungry now, and no prospect of any seafood - curses! :lol:
