You are a stronger person than me Jeraly. I think that if I were in your situation any my visa did not come soon enough then all my family and friends would be coming over for a wonderful engagement ceremony instead of a wedding one. The thought of a K3 after the long process of a K1 would be too much for me to bear.

Well it seems I might be able to enter post-NOA2 and have my "non-legal" wedding then wait out the res of the K1 but we will see - we can only take each day at a time and we can't change anything now so we just have to trust in the fates

Grr yeah - although we have had JCochran approved now so things are looking up for us later July filers

every day? or, like, even every hour or so? no no no; who'd do a thing like that? *nervous laugh*

That's why I invented the USCIS drinking game. Here's how it works: Every time you check your status, take a shot. If you get a touch, take 2 shots. If you are approved, take 3 shots, declare yourself the winner, and go to bed. Wait until tomorrow to tell us all you are approved so that you're not too inebriated to scream and shout in gigantic purple letters. =P

Some observations based on my own experiences: The more I check my status, the longer it takes me to check my status. Eventually I am physically unable to check my status. Problem solved!!
