Was just thinking...can´t remember right now but I think you are planning to have the wedding in USA right? I would strongly not recommend you to do that. Some people get married on a tourist visa while they are in USA but that´s only possible if you don´t plan your wedding ahead. In your case you are already planning cuz you applied for K1 so they will know. That could cause some problems later with K3. I suggest you wait through this and if it comes to it postpone the wedding date. If you have to refund somebody maybe do that if you can and then just have a small wedding with no huge expenses. Maybe I am totally wrong but was just thinking about it so wanted to let you know. Don´t wanna be a pain in the ### or something If you are planning to get married outside USA though then I think that´s perfectly fine

There is no way we can pay for the cost of the wedding and reimburse the 11 people who have paid for their whole visit - as far as I was aware, we could get married on a tourist visa providing we had cancelled the K-1 petition and providing I left the country again to apply for the K-3. People get married abroad all the time so I can't imagine why it would make a difference where we get married providing we follow the correct visa procedure following the wedding...

I think you might (read that as "I hope") be getting confused with when people just get married with no visa and then apply for AOS - if that is the case the wedding has to be unplanned and the "beneficiary" can live in the US following the wedding providing the prove that they initially had no intention of getting married or something like that. In my case, I would merely be marrying my fiance, which I could do in the UK, France, Bahamas and then returning to the UK to file for a spousal visa...

At least I hope that is right...

and if you haven't tried the Frambozen, don't knock it... it tastes like beer, just with a bit extra
