I'm here too... my posts seem to go in spurts. I lurk, mostly, when I have time, to see what the topics of conversation are... Been a rough year of adjustment... our wedding anniversary is tomorrow.

3-28-06 David 'officially' proposed

10-16-06 Flt to US, POE Detroit

11-5-06 Married

7-2-07 Green card received

A great marriage is not when the "perfect couple" comes together.

It is when an imperfect couple learns to enjoy their differences.

I'm still alive, if anyone remembers me. We moved from SLC to Southern California a few months ago. So I've been pretty busy adjusting to that. It's near impossible to find work that pays half-decently here.

I still poke in now and again. Have been busy back and forth to the UK for work so mostly too jetlagged to do anything constructive. I've been eligible to apply for citizenship since August and not got around to it yet. Since then there just doesn't seem the urge. I wonder why...

We're coming up to our 10 year anni of meeting next January, and 4 years wed next May. Have no friggin idea where the time goes. In a year or so we'll be turning back around and moving back to Europe. Scares the poop outta me to go through it all again!

Met the ole man in January 1998

Jan. 2004: K1 visa issued ~ April 2004: Got on a plane ~ Nov. 2004: GC in my mucky hands ~ Dec. 2006: Received 10 YR GC

September 2008 - US passport delivered!
