If I wasn't so much in love this waiting wouldn't be so bad - but I am so it is :( I've read elsewhere that CIS holds approved NOA2s until they have a box or crate full. Well if this is true mine must have just missed the box. I've seen others here whose NOA2 is dated just a few days before mine and the NVC received it only a week later. Our NOA2 is dated 10/26 and I'm still waiting. Very frustrating! :crying: One would think they would rather have a steady flow of these things coming to the NVC instead of having a huge pile dumped one a month! Oh well, what can I do but try and be patient.

Once they approve your petition, it is sent to the staging area to be shipped to NVC. I was approved on Oct. 22 but my petition did not get to the above area until Oct. 24. My petition was sent to NVC on Nov. 6 (two weeks from NOA2). I am hoping it will be in their system tomorrow.

Did you call CSC to see if they have shipped your petition yet? Good luck!

I've read that they sent out 2 crates last week so it's a good sign to come. Try contacting them to see if maybe yours got shipped out last week. Most of us who were approved in September waited at least 5 weeks before NVC received our cases. Hang in there.

Good Skills!

I just want to be part of the waiting for this fun bit of the journey instead of still having to wait for our NOA2!

I'm with you! I'm just glad to be on this side of the journey now instead of waiting for my NOA2.

I filed on 18th July and mine is yet to be touched :(

Hope things go fast from here!

I just got off the phone with the USCIS office. They tell me they have no way of knowing if my petition has actually left their office. They could only tell me that it might take as much as 90 days for the NVC to receive it!!! :crying:

AndyM, I was approved on 10/18 and it's not been received yet (as of 11/9), but was told twice it was shipped out on 11/6. Those that were approved the day before me already have their cases at the embassies. Hopefully they send them from NVC to the embassies this week for those of us who had to wait till the 6th for the next crate to leave CSC.

I'm usually a pretty patient person, but this is driving me nuts! How were you able to get them to tell you a specific date it was shipped? All I can get is the usual canned response of "as much as 90 days." If the statistics that you show here hold true I think we'll be in pretty good shape. I sure wish I could get more specific answers out of them though.

Thanks for your input!

Andy
