They had troubles filling your crate for 35 days? That´s just crazy :whistle:

Yes, but there were a few VJ members here that waited 40+ days. I think they sent out 2 crates within the last week so hopefully they have resolved their issues with the mail contractors.

05/07/2007 : I-129F Sent

05/29/2007 : NOA1

09/28/2007 : NOA2 (144 days from filing date)

11/02/2007 : NVC Received Case (35 days from NOA2)

11/06/2007 : NVC Sent Case to HCM Consulate

Well, how do I know if my case has sent to NVC? Do they send us a letter again, or email/website update? Or do I have to call and ask them? :unsure:

The officer at CSC told me to call back in a month. But, I think I will wait only 2 weeks and call. :)

I called CSC every week after I received my approval. I called today and was told mine was sent to NVC on Nov. 6. Just to make sure, I called again this afternoon and was told the same thing, sent Nov. 6.

We got it to NVC too!!!!! On the same day!!! My recommendation is to call right after 6 PM Eastern time. Absolutely different treatment. No rush to get rid of callers giving them BS info. The rep was so nice , answered all my questions. I am very happy today again :thumbs:

We got approved on Oct 17 and the folks at NVC continue to say they have not received it. Perhaps even there the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing. Hopefully my love will get something from the embassy and be a surprise soon. cb

June 8 they revieved it

June 18 '07 check cashed got WAC#

No NOA1, touches, or progress given

NOA2 approved Oct 17

NOA2 card copy in mail Oct 20 (Surprise to us)

Package sent from USCIS to NVC Nov 7. (called USCIS to get this)

Nov 15, I got email at 6:57pm that our package was sent to Rio from NVC.

DON"T WAIT FOR THEM TO SEND ANYTHING, CALL AND MAKE SURE THEY GOT IT.

IF THEY DO, GO AHEAD AND SEND IN ds230,ds2001, the pics, and copy of passport

USE SEDEX AND GET THE TRACKING NUMBER.

Interview Set: Jan 29. Found this out on the embassy website under VISA's. It shows a list of visa types including K1 and shows the interview dates.

Visa granted but they mailed it using their own package delivery service. Took a week. Have money when you go to the appointment. They may also make you go and get more photos taken if they dont like the pics you bring. Just relax and dress wark because they keep the place really cold. Make sure your financials mmet the criteria or they will eat you alive.

MARRIED March 22. Sent in $1,010 in fees to Chicago to get change of status, apply for advanced parole, and ability to work documentation. Things work faster now.

May 22'08: Biometrics appointment in Santa Barbara.

Congratulations to all of you who are now at NVC! How did you find out when your case was actually SENT to the NVC? I've called CSC and they have told me that they send them out immediately after approval and show no records of sent dates. This seems contradictory with those of you who say that they are staying at CSC and then being sent weeks later, so basically sitting on a shelf again. I've called NVC and have been told to call back later everytime.

We had a touch everyday for 3 days after our approval on Oct. 29 but none since then. Does your online case show a touch when the case has been forwarded?

So just curious to know how those of you found out what day your case was sent from CSC to NVC.

There is a time for everything....all in God's time.

3-11-06: Met online

4-4-07: Engaged:)

5-31-07: K-1 package mailed

6-5-07: Signature of receipt at TSC

6-12-07: NOA1 notice mailed from CSC

6-15-07: Check clears bank

6-16-07: Bank shows that check has been cashed.

6-18-07: Obtained receipt number off the back of the check and registered on the USCIS site

6-18-07: USCIS portfolio states packet received at CSC on June 12 and notice has been mailed

7-12-07: Touch due to phone call to USCIS

7-16-07: Received NOA1 hardcopy

9-25-07: Called USCIS

9-26-07: Touch-probably due to phone call yesterday

10-29-07: NOA2!!

10-30-07: Touch

10-31-07: Touch

11-1-07: Touch

11-11-07: Touch

12-28-07: Medical

2-19-08: Interview date- Passed!

4-26-08: US entry in Dallas, Texas

Thank you!! And 'afterforever' don't hesitate to call, it can do no harm to you. I called them every second day starting this Monday, because waiting and more waiting is killing me already. I am doing to call on Monday again to see if they sent it to Consulate

I called CSC and asked them where my petition was at since it had been approved (Oct. 22). They told me in the beginning that it was in the staging area. I asked for a date when they sent it to that location and was told Oct.24. When I called today, they told me it had been sent to NVC. I asked for the date it had been sent and was told Nov. 6. Everytime I call, I always ask for the date an action was taken on my petition. They have always provide one to me. Good luck if you call again.
