ok, I THINK our file is at NVC :)

my fiance has been calling for ages, trying to change my address, and every time he got through people would say they didn't have the file

but today he was able to change the address :D

however, he didn't get a new case number... I'm right in thinking the old WAC case number is CSC-specific, and now redundant, yes?

if so, how do we get the number? does he have to call again? or should I just wait to get Packet 3?

The Very Secret Diary of Legolas Son of Weenus - by Cassandra Claire

Day One: Went to Council of Elrond. Was prettiest person there. Agreed to follow some tiny little man to Mordor to throw ring into volcano. Very important mission - gold ring so tacky.

Day Six: Far too dark in Mines of Moria to brush hair properly. Am very afraid I am developing a tangle.

Orcs so silly.

Still the prettiest.

Day 35: Boromir dead. Very messy death, most unnecessary. Did get kissed by Aragorn as he expired. Does a guy have to get shot full of arrows around here to get any action? Boromir definitely not prettier than me. Cannot understand it. Am feeling a pout coming on.

Frodo off to Mordor with Sam. Tiny little men caring about each other, rather cute really.

Am quite sure Gimli fancies me. So unfair. He is waist height, so can see advantages there, but chunky braids and big helmet most off-putting. Foresee dark times ahead, very dark times.

NVC will assign a new case number and if they have your case you can get the new number if you call.

That is great, STP and sorry about the crappy one Tim! I have 3 very different ones that I like, but the hours are killing me. I work one full-time M-F, then one part-time F-M (3:30am-9am) and another part-time that's now down to 15 hrs a week, mostly on the weekends (was 25 hrs a week until Dec.) The latter job I'll probably quit when my fiance gets here (otherwise, I'll never see him!) :)

Well, I used to have only one job when I moved back to the states with a local school district. I was running a federal grant program for the district and teaching in the program as well, but the district ran out of matching dollars and ended the program early and there were no teaching postions open...so, here I am. Working 3 jobs (out of the education field) to make up for the one I lost. Just keeping my head above water while waiting for another postion to come open. Edited by u2rsobad

There aren't too many open teaching positions here either. I have friends that are teachers working out of there field as well. Here though there are many jobs available that pay more then teaching. I think teachers should be paid better. I can respect keeping up with bills. If I were to loose my job I would be in the same position as you. My job would be hard to match. God bless I know things will turn around for you.

Thanks Tim, I know they'll turn around sooner or later, but around here there aren't too many jobs..period. So I took what I could and keep doing what I can. The part-time job that starts before the crack of dawn, was supposed to replace the other part-time job (higher pay), but I love the people I work with and have a hard time leaving, although they know it's coming when my fiance gets here.
