June and July Filers - NOA2 to NVC

I am also July filer (July 10th sent) with NOA2 (email) received on December 19th. Does it really take a month to move to NVC (because of CSC) ?

Yes, it does in most all cases..but keep your fingers crossed...you could be the lucky one that goes faster!

I am stuck at receipt number. My receipt number starts with WAC*. How do I enter WAC through telephone keypad? There are only numbers there!

Yeah - I'm stuck in that as well - we got our NOA2 the day before you so we might end up getting to NVC at the same time - I'm not in any rush now though so

mine took just over 3 weeks!!!

my reply was actually to the post above, about being with our sweethearts over Christmas / New Year

unfortunately, as far as David has been able to ascertain, our file is still not at NVC

Since we all are in the same boat, can someone predict based on others experiences and law of averages what might might be subsequent possible dates for NOA2 -> NVC, NVC -> consulate for our bunch?

False/long nails: a surefire way to make any word you type twice as long - two for the price of one!

You can have first dibs but I am still hankering after a March/April Med/Interview meet-up!!

I've never had false nails - I have the good fortune to have very strong nails which will grow forever if I let them... however they get in the way of typing so much I hardly ever let them

but you're right about the typo thing - mine seem to go from 'ok' to 'problematic' virtually overnight, and then everything I try to write goes wrong

I'd love to meet up... I'm sure it will be possible

Yay!!! We'll have to try for some carefully arranged planning things - either way if you are still in the country when I have interview/medical then I am sure we can figure out meeting up anyway!!! I intend to get a hotel for the night so maybe if I can wangle a Friday then we can go out on the razz and sleep in Saturday!!! Will have to make sure I book late bus back though!

I got some good news... my fiance got his interview date yesterday!! It's set for Jan 28th at 8:30am. I'm so excited I can't sit still!! We were originally hoping to be married 12/28, but with all this waiting, that didn't happen, so now we're looking to Feb!

To all those still waiting...there is a light at the end of the tunnel..keep the faith!
