Still no word from the NVC either.

Don't get too frustrated yet Just pray what happened to my case (and now ramzis51's) doesn't happen to yours. It's been taking a few weeks from CSC to NVC...and only a matter of days from VSC to NVC. Hopefully this week will be your week

Wow - things are moving fast now. My case was received at NVC on 12-12 and I called today just for fun to see if my case was still there...well no...it was sent to the US Embassy in Cairo on 12-14..I am totally speechless!!

Not quite dead...just not alot of news to report I guess. Are you having a great time with Jeremy? I'm envious...wishing I could be with my SO...it's been a long time since I saw him last

Well since Jeraly is in this group now officially, its time to bring it back to life. We got a hard copy letter from NVC, basically told me what I already knew, our case # that they got the petiont and had forwarded it to Auckland. <Sigh> how come I can not get to talk to a body at the Auckland consulate. I try and try but their automated system sucks and no one calls me back. Anyone have any ideas? I am dying to see if they got the packet and when they will be seding packet 3 out to Daniel.

I am fighting a head cold, I took cold eeze the day i felt i was getting it. I think it is keeping it at bay, havent got the full on cold, so maybe i am beating.... still rest is in order.

Jeraly!!!!! I have noticed something lol Congragulations Don´t get me wrong I kept checking on you so I noticed earlier than today But was super super busy with arranging things here so didn´t really spend any time writing on VJ So I hope some kind of a relief finally got to u? Unless you are already worried about the speed of NOA2 to NVC? Well it´s really a great Xmas pressie anyway. I didn´t have time to read the posts so if anyone else was approved too Congratulations too

Seriously...it appeared like I had a month to deal with things here before flying but it´s not like that. Xmas took about 2 weeks from me cuz all the offices and stuff will be closed so had to take care of most stuff this week and also some more things are left that have to wait till January so it´s gonna be pretty busy for me again once everyone gets back to work. But I have my ticket already so filling out the POE

Also! I wanted to wish everyone Merry Xmas and Happy New Year. Hopefully we will all be with our loved ones very soon in 2008 I am wishing you so now cuz I will be spending Xmas with the family and tomorrow we go shopping for the carps etc and dunno if I will be on internet much So hopefully see you before New Years but if not you will be in my thoughts anyway All of you have a great time and as much fun as you can The less luckier ones from us who won´t be spending Xmas with their SO don´t be sad cuz the wait is worth it On the contrary make the most of it and have fun with your families cuz the next Xmas we might be spending Xmas far away from our families with our loved ones so just remember that who you are missing this year you will be spending Xmas with the next year and who you are spending Xmas with this year you will be missing the next year *hugs*

No worries! Jeremy is over so haven't been around much anyway!! it is a relief and a great present but as much as I love Jeremy being here I feel like I am getting out of touch on what happens next and how everyone else is doing because I can't read all the posts properly like I do normally!!!! It was such a great feeling though I think I freaked more when we got the first touch than when we got the NOA2 - it was then I knew something was happening so I knew we were going to get our NOA2 or an RFE real soon Fortunately it was the former!!!

If anyone wants to drop me a line then I am on facebook and I think Debz has my e-mail address (although I have over 40 unread e-mails at the moment - if I see anything unusual I will be sure to check it though!!!) I'm trying to see if there have been any more approvals! And I want to know if I win the sweepstake!! Only CBR now and my three nominated approvees are approved! w00t!!

Try calling the Dept fo State (DOS) 202-663-1225 Option 1 then Option 0 to speak to a visa specialist, they can tell you when the consulate rec'd the paperwork and when they sent out pkt 3
