June and July Filers - NOA2 to NVC

Ouch that sucks... what are they doing to rectify it? Are they going to forward it immediately to the correct one or is that too much for them?!

they're expecting me to rectify it by contcting the new zealand embassy.....

So they sent it to New Zealand? They should be up if you wanted to call them now... I am sure if you explain the situation and that it was sent to the wrong place etc they will send it on and it will be a lot quicker than you think I promise everything will be ok *hugs*

Hi all, I received the hard copy NOA2 today in the mail yay! I called the NVC and the petition has already been forwarded to the Aukaland, New Zealand consulate. The operator I got was nice, gave me a case # and phone # to call them if I have questions but basically said that once the consulate gets it the should send out a packet with instructions to my fiance in New Zealand. He said might be 4 weeks before he gets that packet. Stinky, hope its sooner. I was surprised about how little instructions there were on the NOA 2. If not for this web site , I would not have known to call the NVC.

Well, that's it for now. I have already filled out and had I 134 notarized, I got my employee letter in triplicate, by letter from my bank and photo copies further proof of releationship etc... So I have everything all set to go and be mailed. Just waiting for him to get the exact instructions to make sure nothing is left out.

Ooooh - well if you want I could give you my WAC number and you could refresh the USCIS website for me?! It's utterly futile but will make you feel like you are doing something productive I am sure if you call first thing Monday (their time!) they will be able to help you All they have to do is dig it out and mail it forward - I am sure it won't take much longer than mail normally would At least you know it is on its way!

I spoke to the NZ immigration lady....she was awesome...and so helpful....They have'nt received the case but she assured me that it'll be forwarded to the right Embassy...Thank God....gave some relief!!

Good morning/Afternoon all...So we have requested our german police record, however, it says that you need police records for any country that you have lived in for over a year....Frank lived in the U.S. for over a year...do you think we need U.S. police records...or is this all taken care of in their approval?
